Parenting

I think about what I would want to know so I will give you this:

The absolute assurance that this child will have the freedom to be whoever they are.
They will be celebrated no matter what.
They will be surrounded by an outpouring of love and encouragement.
I will always have their back.
I will be their fiercest supporter and staunchest protector.
I will single handedly be their biggest fan and champion all of their passions.
I will be at every school event and help with homework every night.
I will celebrate all of their wins, and be a safe place to land when they fall.
Learning is so important, but so is playing and being silly.
It is essential to have structure and routine, but life is supposed to be fun too.
I believe it is more important to be a kind person than anything else.
I've wanted to be a Mom my entire life and I am ready for this child.
